Friends,
Today has been an exciting and tiring day. I am writing this while sitting at my desk AT HOME! The dogs were really happy to see me. I don't have to worry about missing dinner anymore, I just "yell" at Menchie. I had spaghetti tonight for the first time in over a month, hmmmm. It is amazing how much one's appetite improves when one gets the food one wants. On a technical note, I had to type in the entire mailing list into this computer. I hope I got it all right. If you don't get this email, please let me know:-))))) That reminds me of an email I got from Microsoft informing me that there was a problem with my email. They then give instructions to ignore this email if you receive it. What a luxury it is to be at home surrounded by love ones.
On the medical front, all of my antibiotics have been discontinued, except for a daily Diflucan. I am still taking Coumadin and I have some medicine for nausea if needed. I need to take my temperature twice a day and report back to the hospital for lab work on Monday morning. The catheter in my neck has been removed. I am no longer neutropenic so I can eat what I want and go outside without a mask. My numbers continue to go up, generally. Hopefully, I will have my bone marrow biopsy early next week.
