All,

First, let me thank everyone for the wonderful outpouring of support, prayers and offers of assistance. All are appreciated, I don't need much assistance right now. But I will let you know if I do.

I had a very good night last night. I feel very good today. I guess I am getting used to hospital life, food is great and no more incidents with breakfast. Time seems to be flying by as I am pretty busy with walking, emails, phone calls, visitors, nurses visits and test, no time to get bored.

On the medical front, the heparin treatments for the blood clot in my arm are going extremely well. The doctor said that it will probably take a few weeks for the clot to go away. The chemo continues to go well, no problems. My hemoglobin count has dropped to the point where I need a transfusion. The threshold was 8 and today's number is 7.7 (see below). The transfusion is just starting. I understand that I will probably have a lot more energy afterwards. That would be nice also. The doctors are still pleased with my progress. I have added the hemoglobin numbers to my chart below. Other than that, nothing much new going on. You will see some fluctuations in the numbers from the lab below. They say this is normal. I am still manufacturing some blood products apparently, and that might be causing some of the changes.
