Health Update, January 15, 2007, Day 455

01/15/08 | by taydeko [mail] | Categories: Announcements [A], News

I am going to try to get back on a more regular schedule again. Sorry I missed last week, but I have been a little busy. The big news is that I am transitioning my Health Updates to a blog. By doing this, I can communicate with anyone who wants to see these updates without sending email to hundreds of people and getting a reputation as a spammer. There will be a transition period for this, but this update is on the blog!

The URL for this blog is http://wilcoxent.com/mzima/health.php. You will notice that there are several other blogs on my site. Please feel free to look at them also. If you would like to contribute to any blog as a member or as a blogger, please let me know. I welcome all inputs. If you have a blog you would like me to link to in my linkblog, please let me know that also.

No doctor appointment today. We have been continuing with our workouts. Last Sunday we walked 4.5 miles. We have started to do the information meetings for the next TNT season, including the Rock and Roll Marathon, which we will be participating in, the Tahoe Century, and the Wildflower Triathalon. I have been speaking at all of the info meetings I can as an Honored Teammate. In addition, today and tomorrow, I will be speaking at two kickoff meetings for the Pasta for Pennies program, another fundraising program with LLS.

Setting up this blog has taken a lot of time, and I have also been trying to clean up my computer, successfully. Between that, designing our new house, and work, we have been pretty busy. We are going to be meeting with a contractor to talk about doing some remodeling next week too. Got to stay busy!

Nothing much going on as far as health issues goes, except I am getting a lot of very superficial bruises on my arm. I think it is some kind of GVHD or maybe related to the Cellcept I am taking. My feet are still numb, my hands are still tingly, although that is decreasing, or I am just getting used to it. The skin GVHD is spreading to my back from my legs. Most of the GVHD is on my left side only. A little strange.

Take care, everyone!
